An employee at Apollo High School has been charged with sexual abuse of a juvenile.
            Owensboro Police was notified by Social Services on April 10 on allegations that 29 year old Billy W Cooper allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 17 year old student.
            The Daviess County Grand Jury indicted Cooper and he was arrested by Police on three counts of first degree sexual abuse, tampering with physical evidence and possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
            Cooper is lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
