The City of Madisonville is receiving grant money to help to reduce worker’s compensation losses.
            A six thousand dollar grand is being offered by the Kentucky League of Cities in their Insurance Services Safety Grant Program.
            The City said Friday the money is going to offset equipment ant training costs incurred by various department s in their effort to provide a safe and work environment.
            Mayor David Jackson says the funds will offset costs associated with safety training, protective gear and public safety signage.
