The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to CLOSE KY 85 in HOPKINS County near the Hopkins-McLean County Line starting Monday, July 16, 2012.
 
KY 85/Anton Road will close between about the 7 mile marker and mile point 7.515 in the Pond Creek Bridge area for major repairs.  The roadway is expected to remain closed through about 3:00 p.m., CDT, on Wednesday, July 8^th.
 
Motorists who regularly travel KY 85 at the Hopkins-McLean County Line should make advance alternate travel plans.
 
There will be a marked detour.
 
Approximately 1,600 vehicles travel this section of KY 85/Anton Road in an average day.
