Henderson Man Arrested After Alleged Shooting Saturday



            One man was injured by a gunshot and the alleged offender was arrested after an altercation in Henderson early Saturday morning.
            According to Henderson Police, 27 year old James Campbell came into the Methodist Hospital Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
            Police discovered that 21 year old Jordan A Collier tried to break up a fight between Campbell and his brother on the 300 block of South Alves Street when he fired several shots in the air.  As he stepped in between the parties, the gun allegedly discharged, striking Campbell.
            Collier was arrested and charged with first degree assault.  He is lodged in the Henderson County Jail.
