He has worked as a school program consultant for the state of Kentucky’s Division of School and Community Nu-trition during the past four years. He also has several years of food management experience.
"I am looking forward to my move to Madisonville and my new responsibilities as the food service director for Hopkins County Schools," Dodridge said.
"These are challenging times for school districts, with escalating food costs and the mandatory meal patterns re-quired under the new federal regulations," he said. "I feel confident that we, as a team, can accomplish what needs to be done."
Previous work experience includes serving as food prep center coordinator for the Fayette County Juvenile Deten-tion Center, and production manager for food and nutrition services and assistant director of the dietary department at St. Joseph Healthcare in Lexington.
Dodridge received a bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the Ken-tucky School Nutrition Association.
He will succeed Marci Cox, who is now district director of transportation.
"Mr. Dodridge has extensive experience working in food management and a deep knowledge of the specific re-quirements of school food service," said Superintendent James L. Stevens. "We’re pleased that he will be joining Hopkins County Schools."
