A house fire in Hawesville Thursday morning has claimed the life of an elderly woman.
            Kentucky State Police tells us the fire started before 10:00am at 1342 Goering road.
            After the fire was extinguished, investigators found the owner, 91 year old Ines Smith inside.
            An autopsy is scheduled today (Friday) at the State’s medical Examiner’s office in Louisville.
            KSP says the initial indication points to the fire not being criminal in nature but it is still under investigation by KSP, the State Fire Marshall’s office and the Hancock County Coroner.
