A Madisonville house suffered moderate damage after a fire was extinguished Sunday.
            Madisonville Fire Department received a 2:11pm call to 411 Thompson Avenue, where heavy smoke was found coming from the attic.
            While inside, firefighters rescued a family pet.
            The fire was determined to possibly have been started by wiring that had shortened going to a light in the attic.
            No injuries were reported.
