The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department reports 42 year old Timothy Britton, who was arrested by Madisonville Police earlier for a similar arrest, has now been charged with four counts of robbery, one count of burglary and one count of sodomy.
In February, the Sheriff’s Department and KSP began investigating three home invasion style robberies. A victim in one case was reportedly sexually assaulted.
A collective investigation by multiple agencies, including the Hopkins County Commonwealth Attorney’s office, led to the bringing charges against Britton.
