The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is restricting traffic to one lane on KY 132 just west of Dixon in WEBSTER County starting today.
 
The lane restriction is to allow the repair of several base failures along KY 132 about 1 mile west of the intersection with US 41-Alternate at Dixon.  Work in this area is likely to continue over about the next week.
 
ADA compliant pedestrian crossing ramps are to be installed at the KY 132/US 41-Alternate Intersection in Dixon the week of August 6^th-8^th.
 
This work is in advance of asphalt resurfacing tentatively scheduled along this section of KY 132 starting August 13, 2012.
 
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow in this work zone which extends 1.18 miles westward along KY 132 from the US 41-Alternate Intersection in Dixon.
 
Road Builders, LLC, is the prime contractor on the paving portion of the $103,120 highway improvement project.
