The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department began their investigation Monday into allegations of sexual abuse of a six year old girl.
After an interview with 49 year old Mark McFarland today (Tuesday), it was determined there enough evidence to charge him with first degree sexual abuse of a victim under twelve years of age.
He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
