Madisonville iRecycle Program Customers Remided Given Reminder



MADISONVILLE, KY- Customers taking part in the City of Madisonville’s iRecycle program are asked to be mindful that only acceptable items are deposited into the recycling toter.

Acceptable items include:
 Shredded paper (must be bagged)
 Plastic bottles, jugs and containers, including the lids
 Steel
 Tin
 Bi-metal
 Aluminum cans
 Paper food boxes and containers
 Newspaper and inserts
 Magazines
 Catalogs
 Paperback books
 Envelopes
 Junk mail
 White paper
 Greeting cards
 File folders
 Aluminum foil & pans
 Up to 3 ft pieces of cardboard

Items such as needles, soiled diapers, toiletries and bandages, glass and pieces of hardwood flooring pose a serious safety hazard to our staff as well as the community and are absolutely unacceptable for recycling.
