Man Arrested Thursday after Pursuit in Webster, Henderson Counties
A man has been arrested after leading authorities on a vehicle pursuit in Webster and Henderson Counties. It happened Thursday afternoon in the Five O’clock hour. The Henderson County Sheriff’s office came into contact with 46 year old Ralph “Craig” Baier of Rutherford, Tennessee after Webster County Deputies reported the pursuit and after Baier allegedly attempted to run over an officer. The pursuit went through the Pennyrile Parkway and ended in the area of Highway 41 and Marywood Drive where deputies had to force Baier out of the vehicle before his arrest. He was charged with first degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property as well as being served six warrants out of Tennessee including a charge of assault on a police officer. Baier is not in the Henderson County Detention Center.
