A man was arrested in Evansville Wednesday afternoon on a sexual battery charge.
According to Evansville Police, 55 year old George Schmadel was taken into custody after a 9-1-1 call reported he allegedly followed a male into a public restroom at Garvin Park, backed him into a corner and touched him in his genitals against his will.The victim reported to police he yelled “No” and ran out of the restroom to call for help.
