A man has been arrested after trying to escape from Evansville Police with his child Thursday afternoon.
            43 year old Brian Sales allegedly refused to obey a judge’s custody order, causing police to show up at 1205 North Second Avenue at 4:45pm.  That’s when authorities say Sales ran into his house with the child and locked the door, later running out of the back with his child in his arms.
            Officers later caught up with Sales and took him into custody.
            The child was not injured.
