The Maroons have a new boys’ head basketball coach.
            Athletic director Mike Quinn announced today (Wednesday) that Matt Beshear will be heading this season’s Madisonville-North Hopkins boys’ basketball program.
            Beshear takes over after it was announced on July 11 that Marty Cline was stepping down to take the assistant principal job at North.
            The Maroons finished last season with a 23 and 9 mark and lost to Hopkinsville in the 2^nd Region Championship game.
