A Muhlenberg County ham was auctioned off this (Thursday) morning for a mere three hundred thousand dollars.
            The price was offered at the annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Country Ham Auction at the Kentucky State Fair.
            Dr. Mark Lynn and Associates of Louisville offered the winning bid for a 17.62 pound ham produced by Scott Hams of Greenville.
            Kentucky Farm Bureau has now raised more than six point five million dollars for local charities, educational and other groups through the 49-year history of the auction.
