A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans night paving along a section of KY 81/Parrish Avenue and a section of KY 54/Parrish Avenue in OWENSBORO starting Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
 
Night paving along KY 54/Parrish Avenue starts at KY 2831/Frederica Street in Owensboro and extends eastward to KY 2155/Triplett Street at mile point 0.514, a distance of about a half mile.
 
Night Paving along KY 81/Parrish Avenue starts just west of Bosley Road at mile point 13.32 and extends eastward to KY 2831/Frederica Street at mile point  14.493 ,a distance of about 1.17 miles.
 
This milling and paving operation is being scheduled at night to help minimize traffic disruptions.
 
Motorists can expect to encounter paving crews in these work zones between 7:00 p.m., CDT, and 6:00 a.m., for about two weeks.
 
Yager Materials is the prime contractor on this $681,605, highway improvement project.
