One Injured, Another Arrested after Monday Altercation in Nortonville



            A verbal altercation in Nortonville Monday night led to one man stabbed and another arrested for attempted murder.
            According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, a 9-1-1 hang up call sent deputies to 31 South Chestnut Street where they found 34 year old Bradley Furgerson who had been stabbed and cut several times with a knife.
            A warrant for the arrest of 48 year old Gerald Frederick, Jr. was issued and served this (Tuesday) morning.
            Frederick was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail on the attempted murder charge.
