The Owensboro Police Department is pleased to announce a new service being made available to the community.

From July 31st to August 3rd several members of the department will be participating in a Child Safety Seat Certification class provided by Norton
Healthcare located in Louisville, Ky.

We welcome members of the community to stop by the Owensboro Police Department located at 222 E. 9th Street on Friday, August 3rd between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for a complimentary child seat inspection which will be conducted by members of the class. The inspections will take place in the rear vehicle bay of the department to ensure that participants are kept out of any inclement weather. Entrance to the inspection area is located through the gate on Daviess Street.
