A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic for asphalt paving along KY 1738 and KY 369  in OHIO County starting Monday, September 10, 2012.
 
Asphalt Paving along KY 1738 starts at mile point 1.0 and extends eastward to the intersection with KY 1414 at mile point 2.558, a distance of 1.558 miles.
 
Asphalt Paving along KY 369 starts at the end of state maintenance near Rochester Landing at mile point 0.0 and runs northward to the 9 mile marker, a distance of 9 miles.
 
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers in the work zone.  Appropriate caution is required.
 
Scotty’s Contracting and Stone, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $948,488 highway improvement project.  Work along these two sections is expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting.
