US-41 Twin Bridges (Mar 17-)
Rehabilitation and painting work on the US 41 Twin Bridges between Henderson and Evansville is underway with overnight lane closures. The northbound bridge is converted to three, 10-foot lanes with a strictly enforced 35 mph speed limit and double fines beginning.
Daviess County: US 60 (Jun 16-Aug 30)
One lane of US 60, in each direction, in Daviess County at the City Power Plant Entrance will take place from June 16 to about August 30 for bridge deck restoration and waterproofing.
Ohio County: KY 54 (Jun 4-Nov 15)
Milling and paving work will take place on Kentucky 54 in Ohio County from KY 69 N in Fordsville to KY 629 from June 4 through November 15.
Spencer County, IN: CR 1700N/CR 350E (May 27-)
County Roads 1700 North and 350 East in Spencer County will close on or after Tuesday, May 27 for continued progress on the US 231 Corridor project.
Warrick County, IN: SR 61/SR 62 (May 27-end Sep)
A resurfacing project is in place on between the State Road 62/State Road 61 junction on the west side of Booneville and following SR 61 north about 1.1 miles.
Vanderburgh County, IN: Morgan Ave (-end Nov)
Intersection improvements will take place at Morgan Avenue at Green River Road with new turn lanes in all directions as well as new signals.
Warrick County, IN: SR 261 (-Nov 08)
Intersection improvements on State Road 261 at Hunter Road should be complete by November. Sight distance improvement and additional pavement is taking place.
Spencer County: CR 300E/Old US 231 (May 7-Oct 08)
County Road 300 E in Spencer County will close from May 7 to October and will be reconstructed to continue the progress on the new US 231 corridor between State Road 62 in Dale and State Road 162 in Gentryville. During construction, traffic will not be able to travel through the intersection from either direction or on CR 300E.
Evansville, IN: Lloyd Expressway (Apr 14-mid Oct)
Traffic on the Lloyd Expressway (SR 66) from US 41 to I-164 will be restricted so pavement repairs may take place. One lane will be restricted in each direction from 6:00am-6:00pm each day and up to two lanes in each direction may be restricted between 6:00pm-6:00am. Work should be completed by mid-October.
Posey County, IN: SR 66 (-Nov 08)
There will be temporary lane restrictions for State Road 66 in northern Posey County (from State Road 69 to 13.55 miles east of State Road 69) and the 12 foot lane restriction is to allow construction to take place in a safe manner. The SR 66 project will replace pavement, shoulders, guardrail, mailboxes, signs and will correct super-elevated curves.
Posey County, IN: SR 62 (-end 08)
Work on a new bridge deck continues over the Wabash River on State Road 62 in Posey County. The bridge construction should be complete by mid-September then repainting done by the end of the year.
Vincennes, IN: US Route 41 (Apr 3-summer 2010)
Construction starts April 3 on US Route 41 from Executive Blvd in Vincennes to Old US 41 North in Oaktown in Knox County. Two separate projects are in the works. A pavement preservation project begins at Executive Blvd and ends at Old US 41 N/Camp Arthur Road, where crews will remove the existing road, re-establish dirt, place new pavement and improve the ramps at US 50 and SR 67, and replace sections of guardrail and signs. The project should end in the summer of 2010.
Henderson County: US 60 (Mar 12-Jun 15, 2009)
Work continues on highway improvements along US 60 in the South Y area in Henderson. The project runs from the US 41-A South Y area to the KY 425 Henderson Bypass. For the week of March 10, one lane will be restricted at the KY 425 end of the project to replace the Washburn Ditch culvert.
Evansville, IN: Diamond Ave (-June 2009)
A change in traffic patterns on State Road 66 (Diamond Ave) from US 41 to Pigeon Creek is taking place. Traffic will be maintained on the existing east bound lanes.
