An attempt at a traffic stop in Henderson County Sunday night led to a pursuit then an eventual arrest.
            The Henderson Police Department attempted the traffic stop at about 11:30pm but the vehicle fled.  Sheriff’s deputies later found the vehicle, driven by 40 year old Timothy Oliver of Philpot, on US 60 East but the vehicle continued without stopping.
            Oliver lost control of his vehicle on Mound Ridge Road and the fled on foot, where he was apprehended.
            Oliver was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center on a slew of charges ranging from fleeing or evading, driving DUI on a suspended license, operating a vehicle under the influence as well as being served with several felony warrants including auto theft.
