The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department, along with Kentucky State Police, are investigating a string of recent church burglaries.
            They say as of today (Friday) they were aware of eight churches in the county that have been broken into.
            Items such as laptop computers, cameras and cash have been taken.
            The Sheriff’s Department is urging all churches to consider removing small electronics until the issues have been resolved and to record all serial numbers from all electronic, instruments or equipment.
