A Sunday afternoon crash in Hopkins County has left one person dead.
            According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, Phillip Bennett of Madisonville was on Highway 138, about 2 miles east of the Edward Breathitt Parkway.  His pick up left the shoulder and struck a concrete culvert, struck a culvert and overturned.
            Bennett was transported to Regional Medical Center.
            A passenger, 51 year old Linda Bennett, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
            The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the 1:40pm crash.
