Madisonville Police is looking for the person responsible for an alleged theft of items Monday at Wal-Mart.
            A report of a man attempting to steal various items in the store was called in and the suspect fled in a vehicle from the store as officers arrived.
            The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, KSP, and McLean County Police and Sheriff’s Department all assisted in the hunt.
            The man reportedly abandoned his vehicle on private property in McLean County.
            The Madisonville Police Department has seized the vehicle and is continuing their investigation.
