Traffic Stop in Owesnboro Early Monday Leads to Arrest
A traffic stop in Daviess County early this (Monday) morning has led to an arrest of an Owensboro man. Just after 3:30am, deputies stopped 50 year old Terry W Belcher at the 740 block of Highway 2830 for an alleged non-working tail light. A search of the vehicle found an alleged duffle bag in the trunk that contained numerous items consistent with the manufacture of meth, along with suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Belcher was charged with manufacturing eth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with not having tail lamps.
