A crash on I-69 in Hopkins County Wednesday afternoon has claimed the lives of two people.
            According to Kentucky State Police, 34 year old Mary J Moore of Louisville was in her Isuzu Rodeo SUV at the 32 mile marker when, for an undetermined reason, left the shoulder of the road.  She overcorrected and lost control, sending the vehicle sideways, into the median and then airborne, striking a motorcycle in the opposite lanes.
            The two occupants on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.  Their names are being held until next of kin have been notified.
            The 1:15pm crash caused the Interstate to be shut down until about 6:30pm.
