A portion of US 62 in Hopkins County was closed for about an hour yesterday (Wednesday) morning for a one vehicle crash.
            Just after 11:00am, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department reports a Madisonville Disposal garbage truck, driven by 46 year old George Allen, dropped off the shoulder of the road.  Allen attempted to steer the vehicle back onto the road, but the load shifted and caused the truck to overturn.
            Both Allen, and a passenger, 44 year old Ricky Vickery, were transported to the hospital for their injuries.
