Rescue crews in Gallatin County, Illinois Wednesday night recovered a vehicle from the Ohio River that contained a body inside.
            At 8:15pm, a 9-1-1 call sent rescue crews to the river near Bunge Corporation grain elevator where a report stated a vehicle with a child inside ran off into the river.  Emergency crews were on the scene within three minutes.
            At 6:25am this (Thursday) morning, authorities say the vehicle was pulled to shore with one person inside the vehicle.  No information about the person was included in the press release.
            The investigation is ongoing by the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Shawneetown Police Department, Gallatin County Coroner’s office and Illinois State Police.
