A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling along US 60/Main Street in CRITTENDEN County starting Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
This daytime milling project to prepare for night paving the following week will require a high level of public cooperation due to on-street parking in the downtown area. The milling portion of the work is expected to take about three days to complete.
Following completion of the milling work, the contractor tentatively plans to start night paving along US 60/Main Street in Marion on Monday, September 10, 2012.
This planned milling and paving project is along US 60 in Marion between mile point 9.204 at the intersection of US 60/Gum Street with US 641/Main Street and extends eastward along US 60/Main Street and Sturgis Road through Marion to mile point 10.755 at Rush Creek Bridge.
