The Owensboro Police Department is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District benefit rally, which is
scheduled for June 2, 2012.

The purpose of this event is to increase awareness of child sexual abuse. Spearheaded by Chapter One of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Group, the rally will begin at Western Kentucky University-Owensboro Campus and end at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District in Henderson, Kentucky.  Registration will take place on June 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Western Kentucky University-Owensboro Campus, located at 4821 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, Kentucky.

The fee is $15.00 per rider, and $5.00 for each passenger. Lunch is included at no additional cost. The rally will leave this location at 12:00 p.m. and will be escorted by the Owensboro Police Department. Once you reach Henderson, the Henderson Police Department will take over the escort to the destination.

No motorcycle? That’s okay because they will allow motor vehicles to participate as well. Door Prizes will be awarded at the end of the rally.
