A Mortons Gap man was arrested this (Tuesday) morning on gun charges, according to Kentucky State Police.
            A visit to Trabue Road by KSP and Probation and Parole found 47 year old Timothy E Hawkins.
            A search of the property allegedly found thirteen long guns and ammunition.  Hawkins is currently on a felony diversion and is prohibited from possessing firearms.
            Hawkins was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
