Arrests Made in Area Concession Stand Burglaries



            An investigation into several area burglaries in concession stands have led to the arrests of two juveniles and an adult.
            The Hopkins County Sheriffs Department reported Monday that the Hanson Hunter Field concession stand was broken into and over five hundred dollars of candy and beverages were allegedly taken.  On Tuesday, Madisonville Police reported break-ins at the YAA Sports Complex and at Elmer Kelley Stadium.
            Similar occurrences were also reported by the Dawson Springs and Sebree Police Departments.
            The investigation led to the arrest of 23 year old Cameron Clark of Slaughters as well as a 16 and 17 year old, also from Slaughters.
            The juveniles were charged with several counts of third degree burglary.  Clark was charged with burglary as well as five counts of unlawful transactions with a minor.
            So far, about three thousand dollars of stolen property have been recovered including baseball equipment, uniforms, lawn care equipment, candy and beverages.
