Several personnel changes have been announced for next year’s Hopkins County School system.
            Lonnie Strader had been named the new director of transportation.  Strader, a former Earlington Elementary principal, has served as director of elementary education for the past two years.
            Steve Eakins will be the next principal at West Hopkins School.  Eakins had been the principal at Southside Elementary for the past twelve years.
            And Nicholas C Eastham will be taking over as assistant principal at Browning Springs.  He has taught social studies at Hopkins County Central High School since December 2005.
            A director of elementary education and Southside Elementary School principal will be announced at a later date.
