One Dead, Two Injured in Tuesday Crash on Pennyrile Parkway



            A Tennessee man is dead and two others injured after a one vehicle crash this (Tuesday) morning in Hopkins County.
            According to Kentucky State Police, 25 year old Germain Rojas of Knoxville, was at the 33 mile marker on the Pennyrile Parkway when the right rear tire blue on his vehicle.  Two passengers in the vehicle reported took off their seat belts and attempted to help Rojas regain control of the vehicle but they overcorrected twice sending it into a guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip.
            One of the passengers, 34 year old Salvador Alvarez, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Rojas, and the second passenger, 23 year old Santiago Ocadiz, were transported to Regional Medical Center for their injuries suffered in the 8:45am crash.
