Restricions near US 41/I-64 interchange in Gibson County



HAUBSTADT, Ind. –The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing there will be multiple restrictions near the U.S. 41 and Interstate 64 (I-64) interchange this week in Gibson County.
 
Beginning Wednesday, August 22, crews will begin milling and resurfacing the on ramp from U.S. 41 south bound to I-64 east bound. This work is scheduled to be complete by end of the day on Thursday, August 23, weather permitting. While the work activity is taking place, motorists will utilize the other ramps at the interchange to loop around to reach east bound I-64.
 
On Monday, August 27, crews will be closing the left turn lane from Warrenton Road to south bound U.S. 41 to mill and pave (in front of Pilot Truck Stop).  On Tuesday, August 28, crews will move their operations to the left turn lane from north bound U.S. 41 to west bound Warrenton Road (in front of Flying J and Loves Truck Stops).  Work will begin at 6:30 a.m. and end at approximately 6:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
