A visit to the Hurricane Boat Ramp in western Daviess County early this (Sunday) morning has led to an arrest.
            After 1:00am, 45 year old Brenda Ethridge of Knottsville was in her vehicle on the area, owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers, where it is posted a no trespassing area.
            The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports finding alleged marijuana in her hand and on the floor of the car.
            Ethridge was arrested and first transported to the Owensboro Medical Health System emergency room for a blood test, then to the Daviess County Detention Center on charges of criminal trespassing, possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
