Structure Fire in Hancock County Thursday Leads to Injury, Arrest
A structure fire in Hawesville Thursday afternoon left one person injured and another under arrest. According to Kentucky State Police, agencies responded to 3616 Highway 1389 where a structure was on fire. During their investigation, they found the alleged remnants of a one pot meth lab and numerous items used in the manufacturing of meth. Amanda M Adkins was transported to the Perry County Memorial Hospital with minor burns from the fire. William E Wilkerson was arrested and charged with first degree manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of a meth precursor and possession of drug paraphernalia. KSP reports the scene is still under investigation and further arrests are likely.
