? A crash in Daviess County early this (Tuesday) morning landed an Owensboro man in jail.
At 4:21am, the Daviess County Sheriff’s office reports one of their deputies observed a power flash from the Masonville area. Two electrical poles were knocked down just south of College View Middle School.A deputy spotted a vehicle pulling out of a ditch with damage and found the driver, 54 year old Murray Estes, to be allegedly under the influence.
Estes told authorities he fell asleep behind the wheel.
He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
