Juvenile Charged with Setting Fires at Owensboro Church
A juvenile has been charged in connection with a fire set at an Owensboro Church Sunday afternoon. According to Owensboro Police, several small fires were found at about 3:00pm at the First Christina Church at 700 J R Miller Blvd. Owensboro Fire Department were able to extinguish the fires. Police discovered that a juvenile had allegedly entered the church, which was closed to the public due to a recent fire. He allegedly started the small fires and stole food items. The 16 year old male was charged with third degree burglary and third degree arson. He was transported to the Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green.
