Mahr Park Nearing Start after Madisonville Council Vote



          THE MADISONVILLE CITY COUNCIL TOOK A STEP CLOSER TO GETTING STARTED ON MAHR PARK. 

          THEY VOTED TO SPEND 67-THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE ARCHITECTURAL FIRM OUT OF NASHVILLE TO GET MOVING ON THE PROJECT.  A KICKOFF MEETING IS PLANNED FOR APRIL 29TH.

          ALSO YESTERDAY, THE CITY VOTED TO ENTER INTO A 5 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH HOPKINS COUNTY REGIONAL LANDFILL FOR WASTE DISPOSAL. 

          AND SHANE BROWNING ANNOUNCED THAT MADISONVILLE WOULD BE TAKING PART IN AMERICAN IN BLOOM FOR THE 3RD STRAIGHT YEAR.  JUDGES WILL BE IN TOWN JUNE 13TH AND 14TH.
