The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close KY 630 in WEBSTER County on Friday, April 26, 2013.
This closure on KY 630/Manitou Road near the 5 mile marker is to allow the emergency replacement of a cross train. Recent rains have washed out the shoulder and created a cavity under the roadway at this location.
KY 630 will be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p..m., CDT, on Friday. This closure point is about a mile south of KY 132 near the KY 630 intersection with Bald Knob Hill Road in Webster County.
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via KY 120 and KY 2836.
About 1,300 vehicles travel this section of KY 630/Manitou Road in an average day.
