Area Cities, Counties Receiving Portions of Law Enforcement Safety Grant



            Several area government entities will be receiving part of a two hundred thousand dollar grant package aimed to help law enforcement agencies.
            Under the Law Enforcement Projection Program, administered by the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, law enforcement agencies will be receiving money to help purchase needed items.
            The Hopkins County Fiscal Court is receiving 7,700 dollars for body armor vests, Crittenden County is getting 5,700 for patrol rifles and ammunition, the City of Beaver Dam—3,300 for body armor vests, and another 3,300 to the City of Hartford for the same.
