Search Warrant Brings Arrest in Muhlenberg County Friday

            A Muhlenberg County man was arrested Friday following a search warrant that was served at his residence.
            The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department went to 177 Dunn Road in Greenville, where they found 31 year old Jeremy Barber, along with alleged components used to make meth, as well as other illegal drugs, evidence of meth being made outside of the home, and a stolen motorcycle.
            Also allegedly taken from the house was a sawed off shotgun, which was found under a couch cushion, next to where a child was sitting.
            Social Services were called to assist.
            Barber was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center on charges of manufacturing meth, controlled substance, fourth degree endangerment of a child, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, cultivating marijuana (less than five plants) and receiving stolen property.
            The Sheriff’s Department reports other charges are pending against additional people.
