Traffic Restrictions on KY 351 in Henderson Planned

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic on KY 351/Zion Road at the US 41/Pennyrile Parkway Exit 79 Interchange in Henderson starting Monday, June 24, 2013.

This lane restriction is to allow concrete pavement repairs along KY 351 within the interchange near the entry and exit ramps.  In addition to lane restrictions this project will include some ramp closures at the interchange with marked detour routes.  Motorists should be alert for lane configurations and ramp closures that will change every 2 to 3 days once work begins.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone at KY 351 mile point 1.3 near Palmer’s Market.  Motorists traveling through the interchange on KY 351/Zion Road should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

JBI is the prime contractor on this $780,521 highway improvement project.  Work at this site is expected to take a couple of weeks to complete.
