Hopkins County Inmate Captured after Tuesday Morning Escape
An inmate from the Hopkins County Jail managed to escape this morning but was later captured and returned. At 7:45am, 24 year old Antony Benjamin Moore was able to escape from the recreation area of the Jail. He was reported to have manipulated a previously undetected structural weak point in the fence. A tip led Madisonville Police to find Moore shortly before 9:00am and he was taken back into custody and returned to the Jail. The Hopkins County Jail reports that all outdoor recreation has been suspended while those areas of the fence are being reinforced.
