A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic along US 41 Alternate/US 60/South Green Street in Henderson for night work starting Monday, September 23, 2013.
This night work zone will run from US 41-Alternate mile point 13.299 at Drury Lane extending northward to mile point 14.336 at Fair Street on Henderson’s Southside.
The contractor will initially work on base repairs from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., CDT, on Monday and Tuesday night. Once those base repairs are complete, traffic will be allowed to run on the area for one week before paving is expected to start on Monday, September 30th. Paving in this area is expected to take about two nights to complete.
E & B Contracting is the prime contractor on this $285,116 highway improvement project.
Motorists should use appropriate caution in this night work zone where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel will be along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
