Henderson County Tourist Commission Launches New Website
(HENDERSON, Ky. – January 9, 2014) The Henderson County Tourist Commission is pleased to announce the launch of their new website, located at www.hendersonky.org.
The site offers an updated, contemporary look and user-friendly navigation. It also features enhanced resources, including information on events, lodging, dining, travel itineraries and other areas of interest to visitors. Expanded resources include downloadable informational brochures, updated news features, links to social media and listings of restaurants, shopping establishments and meeting spaces.
The enhanced “Plan Your Trip” section, offers potential visitors personalized itineraries for their visit. The updated “Blog” sections has an added component called “Trip Tips,” in which employees of the Tourist Commission and Community Room share insights on their favorite things to do and see in Henderson. The addition of a Tumblr photo gallery highlights photos taken in and around Henderson County.
An extensive community Calendar of Events can be easily located from the homepage, under “Events.” On that same page, there is a link to download the Events Submission form, so that community members may submit their own events to be considered for the website.
