Daviess County Man Charged with Stealing $150,000 Worth of Aluminum
Kentucky State Police are investigating how a Philpot man posed as a trucking company and allegedly stole about a hundred fifty thousand dollars of aluminum. On Tuesday an investigation led to the arrest of James Scott Hale. The investigation led authorities to believe that Hale picked up three loads of aluminum product from a Virginia company late in December and scraping all three loads at an Owensboro recycling center. Hale was charged with three counts of receiving stolen property over ten thousand dollars. He is being held in the Daviess County Detention Center.
