Notes from Hopkins County School Board Meeting from Tuesday



     THE HOPKINS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MET IN A BRIEF MEETING LAST NIGHT.  ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDANT SHERRI WINSTEAD SAID THAT A RECENT CHANGE IN THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT LESSENED THE CHANCE OF A LARGE PENALTY ON THE SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR MISTAKES MADE IN HEALTH CARE COVERAGE.  THE REPRIEVE IS ONLY FOR A YEAR.
     AND SUPERINTENDANT LINDA ZELLICH TOLD THE BOARD THAT A KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION REPORT WOULD BE RELEASED IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS ON THE PROGRESS AT HOPKINS COUNTY CENTRAL.
